Baking Tips


• Always make sure the foil seal on the baking powder tin is sealed and has not been tampered with before you buy it.

• Look at the “best before” date when buying baking powder to make sure it is fresh and will offer the best rising power.

• When using a Royal Baking Powder sachet or refill, place unused baking powder in a Royal Baking Powder tin or another container that seals, to ensure lasting freshness.

• When baking, measure the ingredients carefully to prevent disappointing results.

• To make self-raising flour, mix 250 ml (1 cup) cake flour with 5 ml (1 teaspoon) Royal Baking Powder, and then use according to the recipe.
