Be the Chief Happiness Officer of your career: Tip 2

Here's a bit of an "ouch" moment on today's "Tip of the day".

My observation is that there is a sense of entitlement that many South Africans feel about work and life. But in this day and age, with the world of work changing so much, we need to own our careers and stop expecting handouts.

We cannot deny that business and government need to partner and fight the unemployment rate as well as negative working conditions where applicable but at the end of the day, you are responsible for your happiness at work.

If it's within your control, change it. If it isn't, start your journey to find something better!
