This is a story of a young man from an obscure village who grew up under very uninspiring conditions; who had been hurt and disappointed a number of times; and who grew up with a self esteem problem.

Despite all these problems, he had a dream of making something out of his life. He had hopes of doing great things, but had challenges to go through before any of those dreams could be realized.

One of the challenges was to make peace with the past - and this is one of the key messages that is communicated through this book. You cannot move on with your life until you have made peace with the past.

Making peace does not necessarily mean that you must forget about what has happened, but you come to terms with the fact that no matter what you do or no matter where you go, you cannot change what happened. A man once said: “We can see the past even though we do not have influence over it, but we can influence the future even though we do not see it”.

Another message that is communicated through this book is the fact that you can succeed in life despite where you come from, what you look like, or how you speak.

Get Out OF Your Way is an inspiring book that seeks to make people understand that by holding on to the hurt and disappointment of the past they are holding themselves back and cannot progressively move forward if one does not let go of the pain of the past.

The book seeks to make one understand that the greatest enemy against our success is the man/woman in the mirror. If you can empower the man/woman in the mirror, then no one and nothing on the outside will stop you."
