He has a car and doesn’t care for me

“I have dated my boyfriend since 2002. At first he was sweet, romantic and always supportive but things have changed. He has a car and does not stay far from me, but he visits me only once in three weeks. His excuse is that he is very busy at home and at work. He doesn’t even take me out on my birthdays, but rather plays tricks on me and we always fight. I love him and he is the only man in my life. I have tried to save this relationship by talking to him and he said I am full of complaints. Right now I don’t know if I’m in a relationship or not.” – Phumzile, Pietermaritzburg

My dear Phumzile

This is not what I refer to as a relationship. You are wasting your time with this boyfriend. The signs are clear that this man is no longer interested in you. Stop frustrating yourself about him and move on with your life.  Forget about him, go out and have fun. One day you will meet someone who will love and care for you. There is a special person out there for you and some other girl might snatch him one day if you continue focusing your attention to this man who is not interested in you. Take care and I wish you all the best.
