HELP: "My man is abusive and a cheat"

Anonymous from Cape Town:

I am a 36-year-old mother of two and I have been married for six years. My husband

has been abusive, has cheated on me and is always hiding things from me. Whenever I talk to him about it, he apologises, but continues with his ways.

Sis Naledi responds:

It is good to love yourself first as then you will be able to see when someone does

not love you. If a husband loves you, he will treat you right and respect you.

What you are describing is not a loving husband. Protect yourself and stand against abuse. He will not change his behaviour if there are no consequences to it.
