Mandoza’s family have come out intensely to crash all the rumours involving the star's financial status during a press conference held in Soweto on Monday.

During the press conference the kwaito star’s family  thanked the nation for the support since Mandoza’s passing.

The family spokesperson Mohlomola Kekana told TMG Entertainment at the press briefing that they want to send a clear message, before rumours and speculations  started doing the rounds concerning Mandoza’s financial affairs.

"Mandoza is not a pauper. He is not a charity case- he is a husband, a father and a friend. And his family are taking care of all of his funeral arrangements," he said.

Kekana continued saying that Mandoza was a “decent man” who worked hard all his life and his family will give him a proper send-off.
