Mixed reactions from the public about Jub Jub's release


33 year old hip hop musician Jub Jub and his co accused Themba Tshabalala were released on parole today after serving four years of their 8 year culpable homicide sentence.

Members of the public on Twitter had mixed reactions after the pair was released, some were happy while others felt that the time they had served was not sufficient.

Move! ran a Twitter Poll asking members of the public if the time Jub Jub and Themba spent in jail was sufficient. 60 per cent of social media users agreed that the four years spent was sufficient, that the pair made a mistake and paid for their crimes. While 30 percent were were not happy that the two are out on parole and the remaining 10 per cent were not interested.
