From today 10 – 11th September topics range from ‘The Kwaito, Hip hop Narrative’ to ‘Forget Print? Is the Future Digital?” are tackled by speakers who have different views and experiences of the music industry and the lifestyle it entails. It will end with the Moshito Music Festival in Newton on 12 September.

Moshito Music Conference and Exhibition Demo winner will be announced during this grand music extravaganza. A price of R20 000 and a platform to showcase their talent will be awarded to the Demo winner.  The contestants will get a chance to present their songs to a panel of music industry judges as well as influential decision-makers in the music industry, vying for the golden prize.

The competition winner will be announced at the end of the conference on 11 September 2015.

9 Sept: Opening Concert – SABC M1 Studios (Auckland Park)

10 Sept: Jazz Night at the Market Theatre (Newtown)

10 Sept: Moshito @ Ragga Nights hosted by African Storm (Newtown)

11 Sept: Concert in the City – Braamfontein (free Concert)

12 Sept: Moshito Music Festival: The Great South African Songbook (Newtown Park)
