Last month music maestro Dr Dre’s wife, Nicole Young, filed for divorce.
And now the rap mogul, real name Andre Romelle Young, has responded to the allegations and set the record straight regarding their separation.
TMZ Live reported that Nicole’s reason for filing for divorce after 24 years of marriage was due to irreconcilable differences, and she was seeking spousal support and a division of their property.
It was also alleged the pair didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, which meant all the multimillionaire rapper’s assets would be divided equally between them.

However, this doesn’t seem to be the case as the 55-year-old former record label boss recently revealed that they do have a prenup.
According to TMZ, Dr Dre, who is reportedly worth $800 million, responded in court last week – via his lawyer Laura Wasser – agreeing to pay spousal support, but he outlined any property division should be determined by the prenup.
Nicole had reportedly not mentioned a prenup in her divorce petition.
Dr Dre also shared that their separation date was 27 March 2020, just weeks after the coronavirus lockdown started.
Nicole (50) and Dr Dre tied the knot in 1996 and have two children, Truice (23) and Truly (19), together.
The good news is that the pair won’t need to come to any child support or custody arrangements, as their kids are both adults.
