She lived a colorful life. She was open, bubbly and had no secrets, at least not for long. 

Her death has left South Africans grieving in a year that's already filled with loss. Mshoza, real name Nomasonto Maswangayi, was a strong and powerful woman, her manager Thanduxolo Jindela says.

She wasn't just a music artist but she also had multiple initiatives that empowered women such as her women in mining job placement program.
