Your chance to get close up and personal with a traditional healer has arrived.

Mzansi Magic’s new reality show is set to reveal a few closely kept secrets, as it gives viewers a fly-on-the-wall look into the lives of the two gobelas – teachers chosen by the ancestors to guide others into becoming a sangoma.

It follows the lives of two traditional healers who in the beginning had ignored their calling. When they do accept, they find themselves having to juggle between their new-found gifts, “larger than life” social lives, relationships and professional careers.
