There's just something about her. From the time she starred in Boyz in the Hood, to her performance in The Best Man and the more recent Fatal Affair, she's had men falling in love with her with every role.

And when it was revealed that her husband had cheated on her, thousands of men across the globe professed their undying love.

Celebrated actress Nia Long is officially on her way to being single. This after she and her husband Ime Udoka called it quits.

The 51-year-old actress’s rep confirmed the split to PEOPLE magazine. The news comes after Ime (45) allegedly had an affair with a female co-worker within the Boston Celtics organization.

He was suspended as head coach of the professional basketball team after the alleged relationship came to light.

"They are no longer together but remain fully committed to co-parenting their son (Kez Sunday Udoka)," the rep told People.

It all started in September when the Boston Celtics issued a statement on Udoka's immediate suspension from the team. At the time, they said Udoka had violated "team policies," and noted his future with the team will be evaluated.

The announcement was made before the start of the 2022-23 NBA season.

Sports channel ESPN reported that Udoka had a "role in an intimate relationship with a female member of the franchise's staff". PEOPLE later confirmed the allegations.

The couple first met in 2010 through a mutual friend, according to the Boston Globe.  Udoka was a professional basketball player at the time with the Sacramento Kings. Nia was in Boston filming a pilot for NBC, they met while Udoka was playing against the Boston Celtics.

The two have an 11 year-old son together while Nia is also a mother to 22-year-old Massai Dorsey.
