Ntando Duma joins the 5th season of The Queen

Television personality Ntando Duma is joining the popular Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen.

Over the past few months, the telenovela has shaken things up by introducing several new actors who will be joining in season 5. And Ntando is the latest name added to the list.

Ntando is no stranger to the small screen, she famously played Zinzi Dandala in e.tv’s Rhythm City. Now, she’ll portray Mpho, the daughter of Hector Sebata (played by Rapulana Seiphemo). Rapulana is also one of the actors  joining the show.

Ntando took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal the news.

“My heart knows, my God KNEW and did it for me, HE made it possible for me!!! THIS, for me is an absolute dream come true! Thank you to the whole team at the Ferguson Films for seeing me fit for this character and for believing in my craft. I’m grateful for this opportunity. I cannot wait to bring this character to life [sic],” she wrote.

Jessica Nkosi, Menzi Ngubane, Brenda Ngxoli and Kuli Roberts are some of the well-known actors who will be part of The Queen season 5.

Even though there has been controversy surrounding several exits on the show, the creators, Connie and Shona Ferguson, keep their heads high.
