While many South Africans were lowkey celebrating this weekend – the first since the country shifted to lockdown level 2 – Mafikizolo’s Theo Kgosinkwe wed Vourné (née Williams).
Theo shared a gorgeous photograph of the couple in their wedding attire. Even though the lockdown has prevented them from having a big celebration, it couldn’t stop them from officially tying the knot on Saturday.
“Due to Covid-19 Theo and I had to postpone our wedding celebration until next year. But we couldn’t wait to be husband and wife!! Yesterday I married my best friend. We can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends . . . but we will have to wait a little longer,” Vourné wrote on Instagram.

The muso took the chance to introduce Vourné as Mrs Kgosinkwe.
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and finds favor from the Lord – meet Mrs Kgosinkwe @vourne04.”
This is his second marriage – Theo was wed to Rose Kgosinkwe for 15 years. Theo and Vourné met through social media after the muso sent her a DM.
Posting the same picture of the happy couple in their wedding outfits, the model said she felt blessed.
“For I have found the one whom my soul loves – Songs of Solomon 3:4. I will never stop looking up and thanking God for all my blessings.”
