Musician Prince Kaybee says his girlfriend Zola Mhlongo has made him understand himself better and he is not the same person he was before  they started dating.

He said this on the latest episode of “Defining Love.”

The pair, who recently revealed they met on social media, put it all out on the open and shared some intimate details about their relationship.

“I don’t think if it wasn’t for social media, I would have known her because we were in different cities at that time,” says the Fetch Your Life hitmaker.

“I was in Bloemfontein and she was in Durban.”

The producer says he saw Zola while he was busy scrolling on social media, and liked what he was seeing. Which is why he wrote a comment on one of her pictures.

“Someone had posted her. And I just liked her."

The Gagasi FM presenter said she had no idea who he was at the time. And couldn’t believe who just liked her picture when she looked him up.

“A colleague of mine had tagged me,” says Zola.

“And they were like Zola, do you know who he is? and I was like no.

“Then I went to look him up and I was like oh my word, this is the guy who released the song Wajellwa.”

Zola then thanked the DJ for his comment, and that is when he jumped to her DM’s.

“He didn’t waste any time,” she laughs.

However, because Zola was in a relationship at the time, they decided to stop their interaction on social media.

“We went our separate ways,” says the radio presenter.

Zola says some time then passed and they didn't communicate until Prince Kaybee became a resident DJ on the radio station Zola works for.

“We bumped into each other and we were like you again,” says Zola.

“And that when things started,” she laughs.

She also revealed that even though she was very skeptical about falling for a DJ, she can now confidently say Prince Kaybee is her best friend in the whole world.

“When I was falling for him, I was like this guy is a DJ.

“We don’t fall for DJ’s because they will play you like a disc,” she laughs.

“But his heart is pure. He is the type of person I prayed for. And I can definitely say God answers my prayers with each day that I spend with this man.”

While the DJ shared that he and Zola flow and they are always communicating, he also revealed that in his previous relationships, he never had much to say.

“All I wanted to do was to go to my place and bang,” he says.

“Because I honestly didn’t have much to say. But with Zola, we are always talking."

And when his partner asked him what he looks forward to in their future, the DJ, who seems to be head over heel with his lover, said he looks forward to them having kids.

“I also look forward to getting you into my line of business and you running things,” he says.

“I also look forward to you having a very solid relationship with my mom.”

Zola believes she has found her match in Prince Kaybee.

And when they were asked who said I love you first?

“I did,” says the DJ.

“I don’t want to lie; you have made it easy for me to be myself.”

Earlier this year, Prince Kaybee took part in the viral “how it started vs how it's going” social media challenge, sharing screenshots of him taking his shot at bae Zola.

The trend saw people around the world share their success and growth stories in romantic relationships, friendships and even careers.

The Gugulethu hitmaker jumped on the bandwagon and posted snaps of him doing what some are scared to: sliding into your crush's DMs.

According to the screenshots shared on Twitter, Prince Kaybee got straight to the point and complimented Zola on her looks.
