The 32-year-old – who features rapper A$AP Rocky, singer Lil Nas X and plus-sized model Paloma Elsesser in the Fenty Skin campaign– said your beauty line would be gender neutral and for all skin types.

“Skin is skin, everybody has skin, and everybody should take care of it, so I never approached skincare or making this line from a gender standpoint. I didn't want anyone to feel excluded or be excluded,” she told Vogue.

The Needed Me singer also shared how she was trying to get people into a much easier skincare routine which only comprises three steps and three products: a makeup-removing cleanser, toning serum and a moisturiser-sunscreen.

“I am trying to get people into a ritual. Something that's really simple – three steps. We start there because skincare can get really complicated. It can get confusing, so I wanted to start with something that would be easy to understand so that people can get right to it,” the Bajan beauty said.

“Fenty skin is my vision of the new culture of skincare – I wanted to create amazing products that really work, that are easy to use and that everyone can apply,” she said on her website.
