Media personality Boity Thulo’s mother Modiehi Thulo has opened up about her sexual harassment ordeal which left her down and out.

Modiehi told her followers on Twitter that this is the first time she is talking about this without shedding some tears.

This could be because she has come to terms with it.

“I no longer cry about it like I did when I first told you.. I guess I’m healed... it’s been a long road. Thank you for listening then,” she explained to a social media user.

She explained that she was sexually harassed by her former human resources manager. As if that was not bad enough, when she took the matter to the CEO she was met with a flabbergasting response which led her to resign.

She says the CEO asked her why she doesn’t give the HR manager [sex] because he [CEO] also wants to get down with her like that.

“I was sexually harassed by my HR manager at my previous job. I eventually took the matter to the CEO.. his response was; “why o sa mo gaye vele because lenna kao nyaka “ I resigned.I lost everything. I’m talking about it for the first time without crying,” she shared.

She recalls how this debacle destroyed her as she didn’t have a plan. She was forced by her predicament to live with her parents even though she had financial commitment such as car payment, bond and varsity fees.

“I didn’t have a plan B but I felt I’d rather go live with my parents than to give in, unfortunately I had a mortgage, a car and a child to pay varsity fees for.. so it literally destroyed me,” she wrote.
