Bonang Matheba sent her fans into a frenzy back in 2018 when she posted a series of pictures of herself at a vineyard in Stellenbosch.
She later tweeted "Girls with vineyards" which started a hashtag and a debate on whether or not she'd signed a deal to buy a vineyard.
A year later, she tweeted the same thing but this time, it was to announce the launch of her now famous House of BNG bubbly.
On the 18 March 2019, Bonang launched House of BNG which consists of a Brut and Brut Rosè Methodè Cap Classiques (MCCs).
"Two years in the making & my love letter to Africa", she tweeted.
Queen B celebrated the launch of her brand with a star-studded event where she also mentioned being the first black woman to become a member of the Cap Classique Producers Association.
House of BNG went on to become the official celebration partner of the 2019 Miss South Africa pageant, Forbes Africa Under 30 Meetup, E! Africa's #15YearsOfE! and the South African Luxury Tourism awards, to name a few. It was also the bubbly supplier of choice at the 2019 Presidential Inauguration.
The MCC brand took it a step further and hosted the official Vodacom Durban July after-party.
The media mogul also appeared on news broadcasters like eNCA and the BBC World.
A month ago, the House of BNG introduced their limited Prestige Reserve Brut at the Sun Met in Cape Town, where they were also the official celebration partner.
Bonang took to her Instagram Stories to announce that House of BNG turned one year old on Wednesday. Her fans took to Twitter to congratulate her and the brand.
