Businessman and self-acclaimed King of Kwaito Arthur Mafokate (57) was recently found not guilty and was acquitted of charges of assaulting ex-girlfriend and singer Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala and she is not happy about the outcome.

Nakeng Attorneys representing Arthur released a statement confirming that he has been acquitted.

“Our client has maintained his innocence through the entire ordeal including a protracted court case.”But Cici is not backing down and wants justice. She recently shared a post on social media with the hashtag #NotDone.

“A man who falsely accused me of lying in court about my incident even took to newspapers has been dealt with. He was slapped with a legal bill and also was punished by the court to settle my legal fees. He was unable to do so now my lawyers have attached his home #notdone.

Cici tells Drums that this battle is not for her alone but other women who have been violated but “the justice system failed them,” she says.

“I could have died, but God had plans for me, “she says in a recent interview.

The case took two years of going back and forth in court.

“These two years have made me stronger. All my effort was not in vain. I might have lost that case but it’s not over, “she says.

In a tweet which she has since removed, Cici asked Arthur,

“Sir how do you maintain not guilty when these are the screws I have as a result of what you have done to me,” she said. “Where was the constitution when you violated me.”

Arthur recently told TimesLive that he suffered from depression, he stopped performing and lost millions, all because of the case against him.
