Radio personality and activist Criselda Dudumashe is reportedly in the process of divorcing her husband of five years, Siyolo Dudumashe.

Speaking to Daily Sun, the former SAfm host, who has recently returned to her maiden surname Kananda, revealed she was getting divorced but refused to share more details.

“I wouldn’t want to talk much about what’s happening with my relationship, but people should know that I’m in the process of a divorce,” she told the publication.

Signs of the couple’s marriage being in trouble first surfaced last year when Criselda alleged that her husband physically abused her one day when she returned home from work.

In a heartbreaking post last year, she detailed how her husband beat her up and turned into a “raging monster out for blood”.

She then later dropped the charges and told Daily Sun that she had decided to do so because she wanted to correct him and not punish him.

“I have had time to think about the case I opened against my husband for assaulting me and I decided to withdraw the case if he agreed to conditions (attending anger-management classes),” she said.
