In 2018, the existence of his son was speculation and the rapper had not yet confirmed it. Later, he confirmed the rumours on his album titled Scorpion. In a song called Emotionless he rapped, "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world. I was hiding the world from my kid."
News that he had a child was initially shared by rapper Pusha T, whose beef with the Started From The Bottom hitmaker dates as far back as 2011.
Pusha T aired out Drake’s private life in a song called The Story of Adidon.
In the song, Pusha T rapped, "You are hiding a child, let that boy come home/Deadbeat mother******, playing border patrol/Adonis is your son."

After the 33-year-old confirmed that he indeed did have a son, he was still secretive about him. He didn’t post any photos and rumours started spreading about him neglecting his son, even going as far as to compare him to his alleged absent father.
His Instagram posts come as a shock because he has never publicly been seen with both his son and the mother of his child.
The Canadian rapper recently 'dissed' his baby mama in a song but the pictures of them together with their son, gives off the idea that they are civil with one another and are co-parenting well.
In the lengthy caption on his new post the rapper wrote about "connecting to your inner light and shifting your attention to something bright".
What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light. This will create the biggest opening of all. Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy," he wrote.
"It’s impossible to always control your surroundings, but when you shift the focus to how you want to feel, everything will conspire to assist you. I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on."
