It is safe to say Enhle Mbali is one of Mzansi entertainment’s hardest working women. Now the Isibaya actress is set to star in two more movies that will premiere this year.
Her new film is called Loving Thokoza. She plays the lead alongside Mduduzi Mabaso in the movie directed by the creator of Mzansi Magic’s Lockdown, and former Gang of Instrumentals member Mandla N.
The blockbuster is said to have been shot in nine days. According to an Instagram post by Mandla N filming started in early March. Enhle shared some behind-the-scene photos on the social media a few days after filming wrapped.

Happiest I ever been...no bells no whistles inner love=outer peace . When I was younger acting saved me from life. Acting saves me for a second time in my life. GOD IS NOT ONLY SPEAKING BUT SCREAMING. #Godslight #Godsown #simplylive #simplylove #simplyenhle #empressenhle @mdukhekhe
The pair reunite for the movie State Enemy No.1. Enhle plays Grace Chauke – the wife of Collen Chauke (Mduduzi Mabaso), the infamous heist kingpin and an ANC freedom fighter. The movie, produced by Elvis Nkosi and directed by Zuko Nodada, first started filming in 2017 but production was halted.
Fans have been admiring Enhle’s work ethic and anticipating the release of all the productions she will star in.
The release dates of both films haven’t been announced as the Covid-19 crisis continues to affect SA and the world.
