This comes about a week after the passing of Floyd’s former girlfriend, and mother to three of his children, Josie Harris. Roger was known to have health issues which his nephew has blamed on boxing.

Roger went missing a few years back, worrying his family as he was in need of his medication, but he was found again, TMZ reported at the time.

Floyd has not yet posted on any social media platforms regarding his uncle’s death, but he has released a statement through Mayweather Promotions, his boxing promotional firm.

Fans took to social media to pass their condolences on to the Mayweather family and to speak about how great the man was.
