Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has shared the first picture of his daughter, with wife Sphelele Makhunga, on Instagram.

The proud daddy captioned the snap: "Daddy Duties is an everyday thing#Blessed and most of all #GodIsGreat."

We’re yet to learn the name of their bundle of joy.

The newborn, whose face is concealed from the public by a heart emoji, is dressed in a polka-dot long-sleeve babygrow and wrapped in a white fleece blanket as she rests on her dad's chest.

Fans expressed their excitement in the comments and former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala sent a congratulatory message, "Welcome to fatherhood????congratulations the Ntangas," he commented.

The couple got married late last year in a traditional ceremony and have been in a joyful mood since.

Earlier in the year there was backlash from fans who thought the soccer star had still been in a relationship with Sbahle Mpisane. The pictures from the baby shower showed the couple to be more in love than ever.

Congratulations to them!
