Actress Jo-Anne Reyneke, who portrayed the Lungi Buyela character on SABC 3’s soapie Isidingo, is back just months after announcing her departure.

There was no real reason why Jo-Anne left the soapie just eight months into the job but she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity upon her untimely exit.

The soapie’s production says she has been filming since September and promises a riveting storyline with the character.

Not wanting to give anything away, Isidingo’s publicist Catherine Sidyiyo told Move!,  “Viewers should tune in to find out exactly why Lungi Biyela has made a return to Horizion Deep.’’

When Move! enquired about how long the actress will be on the show this time round, Chatherine promised that it’s going to be a while longer.

“She’s back for a while. She’s here until the end of the season. She’ll be here until her contract is renewed for another season,” she reiterated.

Jo-Anne will be making her comeback on Friday night at 7PM.
