Johannesburg - Kanye West has revealed that his wife, Kim Kardashian West, has enrolled in law school.
The 41-year-old rapper spoke to Extra about his wife going to law school. "My wife is in law school now, and it's extremely serious to us," said Yeezy.
Kim has been meeting up with President Donald Trump to try getting convicted felons who have spent an unfair amount of time in prison freed. Kanye continued to say that he loves the work his wife is doing; and all they’re focusing on is helping people without a voice to speak out.
"I love it, I love it," said the father-of-three. "That's all we focus on, helping people that don't have a voice, breaking down the class systems."
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s first successful case in helping someone she felt spent an unfair amount of time in prison was that of Alice Marie Johnson. According to E! News, Alice was a first-time non-violent drug offender who had been given a life sentence without parole.
President Trump agreed to grant clemency to Alice for her offence and she was released this year in June and reunited with her family.
The 37-year-old star, who was happy about her achievement in helping Alice, took to twitter to share the “best news” she received.
Kim is now working on a new case, and is hoping to convince President Trump to grant clemency to Chris Young, reports Hollywood Life. Chris Young was sentenced to life in prison in 2010 for possession of marijuana and cocaine.
Taking to twitter, the TV personality shared a picture of herself, with Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, activist Van Jones and Judge Kevin Sharp discussing prison reform. She captioned her photo: “It started with Ms. Alice, but looking at her and seeing the faces and learning the stories of the men and women I’ve met inside prisons I knew I couldn’t stop at just one. It’s time for REAL systemic change.”
