American rapper Meek Mill shared a clip of himself being barred entry from The Cosmopolitan Hotel by the personnel who said that he would be arrested for trespassing if he did not leave the premises.

Taking to his Twitter and Instagram pages, the Going Bad hit maker shared a clip which was taken by his associate of him being turned away by hotel personnel.

“We are private property, at this time. With the information we have, we're refusing to do business with you. We have the right to do that,” said a hotel security staffer which was then followed by an arrest threat.

“You're telling me I will be arrested if I don't leave. If I walk upstairs and I get something to eat, I'll be arrested. For what? For being a rapper?” Meek who was there to attend a Marque can be heard asking in the video.

According to TMZ, Meek whose lawyer Joe Tacopin had prepared a lawsuit which he was going to file against the casino hotel claiming racial discrimination and defamation – has since decided to withdraw the lawsuit after the hotel agreed to publically apologize.

Even though the Cosmo revealed that the reason why they wouldn’t let the 32-year-old rapper into their premises was because they had reached capacity, Tacopina maintained that the prohibition was solely based on his colour.
