Musician Brenda Mtambo allegedly receives threats after disagreeing with a church pastor

Musician Brenda Mtambo found herself in a storm of threats after she had a difference of opinion with Grace Bible Church Bishop Mosa Sono.

This is after a video of the Bishop was posted on the church Twitter account, where he said, “there’s no difference between a musician and a parking attended. They’re all volunteers.”

These sentiments clearly didn’t sit well with Brenda. She posted the now-removed video on her Instagram page, where she disagreed with the pastor.

“This what I wrote on Instagram base on the video I will post below. I am receiving emails now. Will share with you. If I die I die but the truth is professional musicians must be paid at church.”

“I don’t sing at church or serve or anything. This however is disturbing me. Imagine the time and skill these musicians bring to be compared to car guards… don’t attack me but I disagree with all due respect [sic],” she said in that post.

Soon after, the gospel sensation revealed that she had been receiving threats from church members because of her video.

“I am now receiving emails. Okay I must now be scared I am sure,” she shared laughing off the threats.

This is not the first time a man of the cloth from that church has said something some find controversial.
