Muvhango actress Innocentia Manchidi celebrates first marriage anniversary: ‘Thank you for choosing me’


It’s been a year since Innocentia Manchidi and her hubby, Mpho Manchidi, tied the knot and are now celebrating this milestone.

The Muvhango actress, who plays Rendani in SABC2’s leading soapie, took to social media to mark the occasion. In the post, the actress reflected on how it has been a dream come true to have found her partner.

“Last year on this day my life changed forever, I married the man of my dreams, one of the best decisions of my life. We did it nunu @mphomanchidi. Just as God promised, a go sepe se ka re kgomang! Thank you for choosing me then and for choosing me every single day. One year down, forever to go,” she wrote.

The pair tied the knot last year in a glamorous white affair and since she got married, Innocentia has openly shared how she suffered from anxiety when it came to this chapter of her life.

When the festivities of the wedding were over and she had to move out of her parents’ nest, she expressed having mixed emotions.

In another post, celebrating her one-year union to the love of her life, Innocentia wrote a heart-warming letter to her hubby, thanking him for choosing her as his wife.

“Now can I tell you about this man? One of the strongest, hardworking and God-fearing people I know who has been through it all but remains unshakable. How God saw me worthy of being your wife I don’t know but I am so grateful to be Mrs Manchidi [sic],” she posted.“I said this the day we got engaged and I still say it today, thank you for choosing me.”
