Mzansi Magic has confirmed that their drama series, Isithembiso will not be renewed for a 4th season.

The channel has failed to provide Move! with reasons as to why the show has been canned but viewers will enjoy it until early next year.

Isithembiso follows the lives of two young people who come to the City of Gold in search of not just their fortune, but familial ties, opportunity and education.

The series starred veteran actors such as Hamilton Dlamini, Mavuso Magabane and Lillian Dube and some newcomers, Nandi Mbatha and Zamani Mbatha.

Reports claim that the drama series is being canned because it doesn’t have enough viewership to keep it on air.

Despite what the reports claim, Philly said, “Isithembiso has been one of our stellar and successful telenovelas and this is attributed to the production, cast members and everyone that has been part of the show.”

The channel couldn’t confirm what will be replacing the show at this time. “At this point we cannot confirm Isithembsio’s replacement,” says Philly.
