Nick Cannon doesn’t believe in marriage after divorce from Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon does not intend on getting married again.

According to Fox News, he shared his opinions on marriage ahead of his blind date with a listener from his Power 106 radio show. W

hile many believe that the second time's the charm, Nick doesn’t think so, “I don't believe in marriage anymore, my mindset has changed. I have done that. I don't like doing things that I am not good at,” he said on air.

The 39-year-old Wild n Out presenter hinted that it was his divorce from Mariah Carey (49) that changed his views on tying the knot.

“If you jumped out of a plane on time and it did not work out — you would not do it again, would you?” he said, adding: “I barely survived. Why would I jump out of the plane again?”

Nick will be focusing his efforts on being present in his children’s lives.

"I'm trying to fix myself. I'm trying to be the best me I can be, the best dad I can be, the best entrepreneur and young media mogul that I can be," he said.

According to Page Six, the Drumline actor got married to superstar, Mariah Carey in 2008 and he filed for divorce in 2014 which was finalised in 2016.

The pair continues to co-parent their fraternal twins Monroe and Morocco (8). He also has a son, Golden "Sagon" Cannon, who was born in 2017 with model Brittany Bell.
