Queen of XiTsonga rap Sho Madjozi is trying to put some coin in the pockets of music producers during the lockdown.
While many freelancers are unable to make money due to the nationwide lockdown in response to the spread of Covid-19, the John Cena hitmaker has seen an opportunity to ease the pressure on some creatives.
The award-winning muso took to Instagram to call on music producers – well-known or not – to help produce her yet-to-be-released single Sena Ala.
The muso has written the song and has asked anyone cable of giving it a beat to send it to her and she promises to pay for their service.
Sho said she’s not restricting potential producers into sticking to a specific genre. They have until Sunday to make an impressive production of Sena Ala.
“Attention Producers !!! I wrote this song and it needs a beat. Use this sound, put it on a beat and post it with the hashtag #SenaAla! BPM: 126. Deadline: April 26. Get that quarantine money let’s goooo. Any genre is welcome,” she posted on Instagram.
