Siya Kolisi signs with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports – reports

Spring Boks captain Siya Kolisi has reportedly signed with Jay-Z’s sports management company Roc Nation Sports, a division of the hip-hop mogul’s entertainment company Roc Nation.

Robert Marawa broke the news of the deal, which he reported was happening in London, on his Twitter page on Tuesday night. He wrote that Kolisi was in the UK capital sealing the deal as he tweeted.

“BREAKING Isaac Lugudde-Katwe Roc Nation Affiliate, tells #MSW that Springbok Captain Siya Kolisi has joined @RocNationSports @RocNation family!! He's currently in London, signing them papers as we speak!! THIS IS HUGE!!! #MSW” Marawa tweeted.

Roc Nations Sports was launched in 2013 as a sub-division to Jay-Z’s entertainment company. The sports management company was founded on the hip-hop mogul’s love for sports. Keeping true to the roots of his entertainment company, Roc Nation sports is for supporting athletes in the same way Roc Nation has been working alongside and advocating for artists in the music industry for years.

The illustrious sportsmen which Kolisi joins in the Roc Nation Sports stable include five-time world champion boxer, Miguel Cotto along with other big names such as baseball player Robinson Canó and Andre Ward.

Neither Roc Nation Sports or Siya Kolisi had confirmed the news at the time of publishing.
