KZN police spokesperson Brigadier Jay Naicker confirmed to News24 that an investigation into the disappearance of the 16-year-old was underway.

The police recovered unidentified human remains in the Wewe River in Tongaat.

Somizi revealed that the family is still waiting for lab tests to confirm if the remains are Bobo’s.

“Just spoke to Bobo's mom.....she is waiting for the results from the lab to say for sure that the burnt and mutilated body is her son then they can decide when the burial will be,” he shared on Instagram.
