TNS responds to fan saying he refused to wear a mask at the mall

Celebrities are not exempt from following the lockdown regulations.Like other citizens, they’re forced to follow the rules of wearing masks, washing their hands regularly and staying home during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The department of health recommends that everyone wear cloth masks when in public, however  N95 surgical masks are reserved only for healthcare workers.

A Twitter user recently took to social media to expose producer and vocalist Nkazimulo “TNS” Ngema after she claims to have spotted him at a mall refusing to wear his mask.“Just saw that TNS guy refusing to wear a mask at the mall,” the social-media user tweeted.

“He was even insulting securities just because they ask him nicely to wear a mask before going into the store. We’re all wearing masks but yena [he] he thought he was special lol, they chased him away [sic].”

TNS tells Move! the claims are false.

“I really don’t know what people want from me. Maybe she saw someone who looks like me. But I don’t even go to the mall,” he says.“My baby mama and I have over five masks each at home. Why would I want to contract coronavirus? It doesn’t make sense,” he adds.

In the short time he has been in the entertainment industry, TNS has had a handful of conflicts with fellow musicians. His beef with Prince Kaybee over music rights and ownership has since been resolved. Recently, DJ Tira was accused by fans of trying to sabotage the father of one’s music career due to jealousy. But TNS says “haters can talk all they want” he just wants to focus on the music.
