Uzalo actress Sphelele Mzimela who plays Zaza on the hit soapie has disputed reports that she fell at work and was sent to hospital.

She took to her Facebook page to let her fans know that the reports claiming she collapsed on set and was rushed to hospital are untrue.

The actress assured her fans that she was doing just fine. “I did not collapse on set and I did not go to the hospital as per Isolezwe. Thank you to those who have reached out, I am fine thanks,” she posted.

Isolezwe’s unnamed source, claimed that on Friday she was unwell and she kept on vomiting.

The source goes on to say on Monday she just collapsed on set and couldn’t continue shooting her scenes.

Another one of their sources claimed that the doctors declared her pregnant. In her post and to the newspaper, she didn’t even address the pregnancy rumour.

In a previous interview with Move! Sphe said she fell for performing at a young age and feels like more like herself when she showcases it.

“The character is very different to me but I love challenging myself,” she said.

Even though she’s the new kid in the block she hope her contribution will be positive and her legacy will positively live in long after she’s gone.

“I want to be remembered for making a positive impact. Each day I wake up, I’m grateful to God that I have been given the platform to inspire.”
