Fans of the late Whitney Houston, dates of her hologram tour have been announced. An Evening with Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour is set to kick off on 25 February  in the United Kingdom.

According to CNN, footage of the hologram is making the rounds on British TV, and it’s getting quite the response online. While the show is the result of five years of discussion, the teaser is creeping fans out. One fan tweeted in response to the footage: “I'm not saying the Whitney Houston hologram tour will be a hot mess, but they are suggesting she had as much grace as a malfunctioning The Sims character wafting away a fart on #ThisMorning.”

The singer, who died in 2012 at the age of 48 after an accidental drowning, will have her hologram perform hits like I Wanna Dance with Somebody and Greatest Love of All, backed by her original band and backup singers — including her brother Gary Houston.

New York Times reported that Gary’s wife and the executor of Whitney’s estate, Pat Houston, has been turning down deals from jukebox musicals to a travelling museum. However, she is now ready to accept opportunities. “It [the estate] has lined up an extensive list of potential projects — including a touring hologram, a possible Broadway musical, branding deals and an album of unreleased tracks — intended to awaken the commercial potential of a dormant mega-celebrity brand,” New York Times reported.
