Long ago, there lived a wealthy old man who was highly respected in his community. The man had a son, Kabelo, who was head of the family business and the envy of every young man in town. Everyone liked him, especially the girls, but it was not just his status that made him attractive, he was also kind at heart and humble in spirit.
One morning, the old man woke up feeling unwell and asked his man, Beki, to call his son. He told Kabelo he was dying, and his final wish was to see him wed. He wanted his son married to the right woman – one who would bring pride to the family and would handle the riches his inheritance would bestow.
Kabelo was in shock – he had to process the loss of his father and also make such an important decision. It was not an easy task, as he needed to find a woman different from the rest – one who was kind, respectful, humble and would not be damaged by the family’s wealth.
