Chicken liver sandwich

Ingredients
  • 5 ml - chicken powder
  • 1 - tomato, chopped
  • - handful mozzarella, grated
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 250 g - chicken livers, cleaned
  • 1 ml - cayenne pepper
  • 15 ml - oil
  • - salt and pepper
  • 30 g - butter
  • 1 ml - turmeric
  • 4 - slices of bread
Method

1 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft.

2 Stir in chicken livers, tomato, spices, salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes or until chicken livers are cooked.

3 Layer 2 slices of bread with cheese, top the bread with chicken livers and close the sandwich with the remaining slices of bread.

4 Put a pan over medium heat. Spread butter over the top slices of bread and put it on the hot pan buttered side down. Butter the top side of the bread in the pan and flip over to toast the other side.

Slice and serve.
