10 people living with HIV share their before and after diagnosis photos – and it’s inspiring!

The narrative around HIV and living with the illness has changed drastically over the years.

Unlike a few years ago when many people were misinformed about the immune disease – the stigma has died down and that has lead to more people publicly coming out as HIV positive. And what better place to come out than on social media!

In a recent Twitter thread, Twitter user Thembisile Qwabe shared that she has been living with the virus for 15 years and has been growing strong since. She then shared a before and after diagnosis picture with her followers which prompted other people living with HIV to also share theirs.
