Ask anyone in the Bushbuckridge region of Mpumalanga about Creseldah Ndlovu, and in one way or another they will tell you about her efforts to better the lives of the less fortunate in the area.

The 39-year-old is the powerhouse behind four major projects that’s tackling the plight of the destitute. Her Yesu I Hosi Project provides nutrition for orphans and the vulnerable in the region and beyond. This project also saw her donating sanitary pads to girls in need as far as Maputo in Mozambique.

The Creseldah Educational Foundation was born after she failed to access funds for the education of those children benefiting from her nutritional programme. “Social workers advised I could not tap into educational resources under a nutrition project. Hence this foundation was then started,” she says.
