She  had big dreams. She wanted to be a doctor and one day build a mansion for her family.

But that dream died along with 20-year-old Asthandile Zozo, who was allegedly stabbed to death by an ex-boyfriend in Dutywa in the Eastern Cape.

Asthandile’s death has outraged the country and has renewed calls for government to increase measures against gender based violence.
