Banyana Banyana stalwart Makhosi Luthuli has died after a long battle with cancer.

Former Banyana Banyana star Makhosi Luthuli has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 46. 

Luthuli, who played for the national team from 1997 to 2005, died in hospital in Scottburgh‚ in KwaZulu-Natal‚ on Monday afternoon.

We look back at the last interview we had with her after she had a cancerous tumour removed from her face in 2018.
