He’s been called the ‘minister of condolences and congratulations’. When he’s needed for more serious issues, he’s not available, artists say.

They’ve been hitting him up on his DMs on Twitter and other social media in hopes of getting a slice of the Covid-19 relief funds.

So when minister of sport, arts and culture Nathi Mthethwa congratulated local singer Elaine on signing to international record label, Colombia Records, some entertainers were just not impressed.
