A father from Tsakane who was charged and jailed for the abduction of his own son is speaking out after spending two nights behind bars. 

Vuyani* was arrested by police on 31 October at his house after he allegedly took his eight-year-old son without the mother’s knowledge.

"At first I could not believe that I was being arrested for simply spending time with my son. I had not seen him in a long time, since his mother took him along with her and relocated to another province," he tells Drum.
