He's been working in Britain, where the number of coronavirus cases has almost doubled in a month, according to data released by the government. 

But Dr Sangxa Rozani, who grew up in Mthatha, is constantly worried about his family in the Eastern Cape and has been closely following South Africa's response to the pandemic. 

In the past few weeks, South Africans have been debating the merits of getting a vaccine. Conspiracy theories are being pushed, while miracle drugs and concoctions are being touted by ordinary citizens and politicians alike.
