In her 18 years on earth, she’s seen too much. She’s watched hours of news dominated by tales of women and children dying at the hands of men.

She knew she had to do something, so Asiphe Mkhefa (18) from Nyanga in Cape Town, decided to do something that is within her control.

She vowed to help women get access to safer transportation especially around the township.
