Bonang called "rent-a-black-girl" talent

Bonang Matheba lost her cool last night on twitter, when a blogger hurled insults at her, apparently because of her Glamour magazine cover.

He had written on social networking site, Facebook, saying. “I ignored getting on the bandwagon of running the story about Bonang being the first black South African celeb to be on the cover of Glamour magazine South African edition, because I personally do not think it was anything worth celebrating.

The blogger even went as far as calling Queen B a puppet: "You're all just puppets, including people like Bonang who have essentially become rent-a-black-girl talent".

This left Bonang hot under the collar and she expressed her ire on twitter. She tweeted, “I will not allow you to diss black people, including myself, when we already have to work fu**** hard”.

The blogger however, continued with his Facebook insults. “Black magazines do not pay black people like Bonang on their covers. White magazines only use black people like Bonang on their covers, when they need publicity,” he wrote. In response to this, Bonang tweeted: “And if you cannot accept that I’ve broken a barrier in 2014 – leave me alone”.
