Bongi and Vincent face off

After  weeks of a tough and challenging ride, Bongi Silinda (24) from Nelspruit will face off with 30-year old Vincent Bones from Pietermaritzburg. Bongi who auditioned twice for this year's Idols in Carnival City first where she didn't make then went through to the Pretoria auditions.

"The hardest part of the competition has been dealing with people and personalities. You have to make sure you learn to accomodate other people," Bongi says.

Vincent says people would be surprised to know that he is a sports fanatic and loves speaking to people than singing to them. Before Idols Vincent worked at a church as a music director, while Bongi was a freelance musician and a back up artist.

" I am still coming to terms with being in the Top 2. It hasn't sunk in yet, " Bongi said soon after the semi final show. "I am just grateful and overwhelmed by everyone's support," said Vincent. Both Bongi and Vincent's single are now available for download on itunes. The Finalé takes place at  Carnival City Casino and Entertainment World on Gauteng’s East Rand at 17:00 next Sunday, 23 November.
