Kaizer Chiefs will not be renewing the contract of former skipper, Jimmy Tau, the Football Manager Bobby Motaung revealed.

Jimmy missed the entire 2012/2013 season after suffering an injury in the last game of 2011/2012 season.

He has been with the club for the past eight years and had this to say, “As I bid the Amakhosi faithful goodbye I want to thank them for supporting me during rough times and injury period at Kaizer Chiefs.

I will forever be grateful for having been part of the family.”

He thanked everyone from his teammates to the media and fans for supporting him.

We’ll wait for more chopping and changing of players.
